Description
This AOpen Peak 350W power supply is designed to cater for the vast majority of PC user needs whilst providing reliability and low noise at a low cost. Its high efficiency low RPM downward facing fan reduces noise to an inaudible level. These power supplies are subjected to rigorous quality control procedures to ensure maximum reliability and compatibility. With thermal control function, this unit complies with CISPR22 230 VAC Operation and meets EN60950 requirements. This power supply features a new innovative 20/24 pin power connector avoiding the need for any 24 -> 20pin converters. The power connector block can clip together to form either a 20pin or 24pin motherboard connector. Choose this PSU if you are planning on using a mid range or low end graphic adapter. If you plan on using one of our high powered PCI-Express video cards choose a 400w PSU or above. Some high end video cards can demand more power than standard 300w PSU's are designed to offer. If you are planning to use 2 graphics cards linked together in SLI mode then you should choose a PSU with 500w or more. Since January 2001 there have been tough regulations in the EU regarding power supplies. These regulations mean all new power supplies must have a feature called power factor correction (PFC) which increases the efficiency of the unit and avoids disruption of the mains supply in your building.
